9:30pm – 10:30pm Isians of the Past, Present, and Future, with Kasey Conder

The Goddess Isis of 10,000 Names praises trace back to the Old Kingdom and the Pyramid Texts, however, the rise of her priesthood excelled with the last native dynasty of Egypt, with Nectanebo I, building the Temple of Isis at Philae. His successors felt a strong calling to the Goddess. This later dynasty of successors could possibly include the enigmatic Scota migrating to Scotland with the Stone of Scone (Stone of Destiny/Coronation). The Macedonian rule of Egypt granted great promise and adoration to the Goddess Isis with priestess inspired names like Arsinoe, Beatrice, and Cleopatra. Roman emperors following called on the "Virtue of Isis" to protect the imperial house and its mysteries, granting them the divine right to rule. This presentation will delve into the notable Isians of the past like Apuleius, throughout the ages to our own mystics of the modern era like Dion Fortune, Olivia Robertson, and Loreon Vigne, followed by a group recognition of Isian pioneers before us and the Currant of the Goddess which they possess.

4:30pm – 6:00pm Spirit Has a Shape with Leslie Kirk-Campbell in the Pavillion
How does one explain the shape of moisture, dew, and rain (Tefnut) or quantify air (Shu)? Spirit, itself, is ever present yet just beyond our grasp. This hands-on 90 minute workshop offers you the opportunity to recall (like the echo of a distant bell), your own spirit and its surprising, circuitous path. Did you fall in love with the goddess at 3? Understand the transcendent beauty of nature at 9? Experience the Oneness of everything on a Greek beach at 19? We will use Lady Loreon’s spiritual path as outlined in her book, The Goddess Bade Me Do It, as an inspiration and to pay tribute to the Temple’s founder and our spiritual guide. We will use colored markers, charcoal, and watercolors to draw our spiritual autobiographies on large pieces of paper. Written spiritual autobiographies will be available to re-read for those who have sent them to the Temple of Isis at the time of initiation. The drawings will then be posted on the walls of the large temple and will be available for you to take home. There will be time to share our drawings and our stories of awakening to spirit. No artistic experience required!

4:30pm – 5:30pm Blue Isis: A Journey with the Goddess Through Sacred Art with Jim Berenholtz
Throughout the two years of painting "Blue Isis", Jim felt her healing energy coming through him as an artistic response to all the cruelty, insanity and suffering that has been seen in the world. Now is the time to bring this painting out into the world and share it. This special painting is laden with rich symbolism pertaining to the ancient Kushite and Meroitic Civilizations, further south along the Nile, where the worship of Isis remained strong well into the first millennium AD. Jim was very fortunate to visit some of these sites in the Sudan in 1997. The painting also relates to the teachings, wisdom and symbolism of the Oromo people of Ethiopia, who are linked through ancient migrations with the Kushites and Egyptians. This knowledge has been passed on to Jim through his teacher, Abba Liban Dabassa Guyo, since they first met him in 1988. Join Jim as he shares what is essentially a Book of Knowledge, a visual encoding of information, history and cosmology that links ancient Egypt with Sub-Sahara Africa. 30 minutes with Q&A after. The original painting of Blue Isis will be on display for this talk.
